Description:
  • As a Senior eLearning/Web Developer you will provide UI design, visual imagery, navigation, and functionality needed for eLearning, mobile learning, and web design to support Talent Programs initiatives.
  • This includes developing simulations, branching scenarios, videos, animations and other media production.
  • This position is responsible for creating development standards for simple interactive and engaging online learning.
  • You will mentor and lead other eLearning/Web development team members in areas of Web and Mobile learning design technology and innovation.
  • You will operate with wide discretion and under minimal supervision.
Core Functions:
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts and interpret their requirements and needs for training requirements
  • Develop learning objects for eLearning and mobile learning and online assets such as web sites, animations and infographics
  • Test, debug, deploy and maintain learning and online assets
  • Optimize graphic images for web utilizing web standards to ensure best in class design
  • Serves as online steward to ensure all learning assets adhere to mobile, web, and eLearning standards
  • Create and manages development process that streamline creative intake, visual design timelines, asset production and development handoff.
  • Contributes as a creative consultant in requirements gathering, brainstorming and idea-generating
SKILLS:

Skills Required:
  • 6-8 years of experience developing eLearning solutions, as well as demonstrated experience and creativity in eLearning development.
  • Thorough knowledge of eLearning development software such as Lectora, Flash, Captivate, SimWriter, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Soundbooth, Final Cut Pro.
  • Expertise in technologies used in eLearning development and production including HTML, JavaScript, ActionScript 2/3, ASP/ASP.NET, and SCORM 2004/SCORM 1.2/AICC.
  • Experience with deploying eLearning solutions in Learning Management Systems such as Plateau, Knowlagent, Saba, SumTotal, SkillSoft.
  • Experience in researching, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating training programs.
  • Experience advising on media selection such as instructor led/learner led, synchronous/asynchronous
  • Experience developing templates and process documentation for eLearning, video scripts, and audio scripts.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Masters degree in educational technology or instructional design preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of eLearning, mobile learning and web site development
  • 4+ years of web design including page layout, graphics, navigation, usability, and other assets
  • Demonstrate adult learning standards and ADDIE process design in an interactive, rapid design environment
  • Multimedia production including audio, video, animations, branching scenarios, and simulations
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems technical standards (SCORM 2004, SCORM 1.2, AICC)
  • Web strategy management and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver creative concept presentations
  • Graphic design skills are a must. They should be an expert in Illustrator and Photoshop. Second they should have experience animating in After Effects. Third would be having experience using one eLearning development tool with a preference for Lectora. If they know Captivate they could easily learn Lectora. Being able to shoot video and do post-production work would be an plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • 4+ years of eLearning development software such as Lectora and Adobe Creative Suite (Captivate, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premier, After Effects)
  • 4+ years experience with Web programming in HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, JQuery and Axure
