Process Architect
Scope of the project
Put together the necessary architectures to support the identified business processes and to support the business rules definitions.
Responsible to resolve any differences between the support analysts and business units.
The Process Architect role involves documenting both the inter-relationships between processes (people & systems) and identifying the hierarchy of the processes (business processes,
functional processes, sub processes and process components) which make up the overall value stream and link it to the Integrated Production Plan & Product Development Value Stream.
The overall aim of the Process Architect is, in conjunction with the Process Innovation responsible, to ensure the Process Initiative meets the organizations overall Business Strategy.
Tasks
Develop business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.
Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.
Ensure that the tactical and strategic enterprise goals are reflected in the processes, and the metrics & business rules necessary to provide ongoing information governance are mapped to the processes.
Describe the primary business functions involved in the journey, and the generation, or enhancement of the data in scope of the current project.
Define the set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe how, in the scope of the project, external entities such as EMA, CMO, and external organization interact with the business; and describe which people, resources and controls are involved in these processes.
In the scope of the project, capture the relationships among roles, capabilities and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units.
Education & Profile
University or high school equivalent diploma (Bachelor)
Area of Specialisation : Computer science, Business Analysis
Structured way of working, in accordance with regulatory requirements and GxP processes.
Ability to understand how and where the information is used throughout the value chain and how the business processes fit
Minimum of 5 years within the Biopharma industry
Very strong experience with ER Studio Business Architect (Mandatory)
Familiarity with the process to develop and commercialize medicinal products provides a good grounding for the elaboration of fit-for-purpose processes in R&D functions.
The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions
The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business
The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture
Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
Excellent communication skills
