Scala Developer (Scala, AKKA, Play, Agile, TDD)
Arrows Group on behalf of their client is currently looking for 10 x Scala Developers (Scala, AKKA, Play, Agile, TDD) - to join their team and help them building applications written in Scala. It is an Agile, Kanban, loose Scrum type of enviroment.
*** A 3 month contract with a very definite chance of extension!!!***
You will join a great team made up of mix of perm and contract Scala devs. The team is striving for best practices, eager to try out new technologies, open to new ideas whilst delivering quality software, in a fun and trusting environment! The Scala developer (Scala, AKKA, Play, MongoDB, Agile, TDD) will have the unique opportunity of gaining varied experiences across a range of the client's products.
Client is based in Leeds & willing to pay £450-£650 depending on your experience and level of seniority.
Main skills they will be looking for are:
* Scala, AKKA, Play framework
* An Agile mind-set and experience
* Experience of Paired Programming is essential
* Extensive experience with TDD & BDD using Cucamber
* Championing Agile practices such as Pair Programming, TDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
