The i-PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) programme team is responsible for all aspects of Product Lifecycle Management development, implementation and user support. The team is leading an enterprise wide deployment of PLM in partnership with Dassault Systèmes, to replace a complex array of current systems.
During the initial phase of PLM implementation, the Manufacturing Domain team has developed and deployed next generation PLM capabilities to support Manufacturing process design and simulation, throughout the product creation life cycle.
The successful applicant for this role will contribute to the ongoing development of the company's technical capability through developing Manufacturing toolsets and processes in DELMIA V6 to improve the efficiency, quality and speed of Manufacturing processes across all technology areas. The role will include supporting the Manufacturing user community as they adopt and embed PLM processes and systems across their business areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Work within the PLM team alongside other technical domains and technical partners to deliver operational support for the client's Manufacturing PLM capability (DELMIA V6 and associated toolsets);
- Contribute to projects to enhance the client's Manufacturing PLM capability within DELMIA V6 and associated toolsets;
- Contribute to the development of training material for Manufacturing work-flows and methods;
- Provide end user support for deployed solutions;
- Support the identification and development of opportunities for improving utilisation/adoption of Manufacturing tools and processes particularly by working with our business customers.
The successful candidate should possess or have experience of the following:
- An understanding of Manufacturing business processes;
- Project delivery experience;
- Experience in software testing, verification, and deployment;
- Experience with specific Manufacturing tools such as GSPAS/APT, Process Designer, DELMIA V5/V6, etc. is desirable;
- Experience of Dassault Systemes 3d Experience Platform is desirable;
- A disciplined approach to documentation;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Time management and personal organization skills;
- Experience working in the automotive industry in either the Product Development and/or Manufacturing domain would be an advantage.
