Description
We need to engage an individual with strong experience, knowledge and aptitude in software development to work on critical strategic projects. Quality resources with strong technical aptitude are needed to participate on a team to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of services, data structures, processes, web sites and applications that will support critical customer facing applications.
The ideal candidate would have a strong background in C# and database development. The work will range from API development and integration, batch and stream processing apps, desktop and web. Our client is also looking at moving their solutions to the AWS cloud so cloud experience would be helpful.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of applied C# .NET experience
- Minimum 3 years of RESTful Web API or WCF development and integration experience
- Expert level full-stack software development experience
- Experience with SQL Server writing SQL and DB objects in relational databases
- Experience with Windows service and desktop development
- Automated testing, Unit, Integration
- Ability to diagnose problems and recommend solutions to the team
- The ability to work with others to quickly and efficiently integrate solutions
- Perform under minimal supervision on significantly complex assignments
- Resolve complex technical issues
Preferred:
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of infrastructure and software deployment
- Experience with large, complex relational databases and query optimization and tuning
- Experience in systems architecture and design
- Cloud computing Azure/AWS
- PostgreSQL and Amazon RDS
- Source Code Repositories: TFS, SVN
- Applied GIS Experience (ESRI, Leaflet, Bing Map, WKT, GEOJSON, GEOSpatial datasets)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies
