Next Ventures is urgently looking for an English speaking Exchange Engineer.
Scope:
The objective of this project is to support our finance client during the migration of the existing on-premises mailboxes in Lotus Notes to Exchange Server.
It is envisioned to create a 'L2.5' interim supporter role that will sit below L3 COperational support in the ticket workflow hierarchy. The purpose of this team is to provide support for migration specific issues that do not require the high-level technical input provided by L3 Operations. The team will also act a direct point of contact for incident handling and routing for items raised by the Microsoft 'Migration Factory'.
The role:

Level 1 Service Desk, L2 Field Service and L3 Mobility & Collaboration Operational Support

Solution deployment in production.

User Acceptance, User related, Performance and Loading testing

Performance Fixes

Infrastructure and Operations Support

Evaluation and procurement of new software or hardware.

Server Infrastructure Management and Maintenance.

Network, Firewall, and Router configuration on production environment.

Any administration activities like database administration, backup, restore, and production builds, maintenance of Servers, load balancing etc.

Data and Application migration

Support for non-Microsoft developed code

Deployment of Service Packs/Security fixes and configurations/Solution Release deployment

Any End-user/client machine support/creating installer

Resolving any Network or Infrastructure, platform related issues

Any device/interface support

Data and Application migrations

Third party solution/tool support

Supporting the Source environment which is being migrated Eg. Local and Global Domino Infrastructure

Supporting identity management and synchronization
Technical skills required:
4 +years of Experience on Exchange administration
Desired experience on Lotus Notes 8.x
Working knowledge in AD.
Quest migration tool would be an added advantage
Start date: Immediate
Languages: English ( any German would be a bonus but not essential)
