Description
A Ruby on Rails developer with Expert knowledge of Ruby and Rails (incl Rails 4) is required to work for a well-known brand on Greenfield projects in the UK. As a Ruby Developer you will have knowledge of writing OO code and design patterns such as MVC, ability to integrate with 3rd party APIs, experience of setting up, monitoring, and scaling infrastructure in the cloud (AWS, Rackspace etc) and have experience with a CRM. You will also have demonstrable experience in developing applications for thousands of users as well as Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar.
Core Requirements:
- Great at communicating & collaborating within a team
- CRM experience - Salesforce preferred
- Expert knowledge of Ruby, and Rails (incl Rails 4)
- Expert knowledge of writing OO code, and design patterns such as MVC
- Great at testing your code (TDD/BDD, Rspec, Jasmine)
- Ability to integrate with 3rd party APIs
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar
- Demonstrable experience in developing applications for thousands of users
- Experience of setting up, monitoring, and scaling infrastructure in the cloud (AWS, Rackspace etc)
- Any experience or interest in Rubymotion, or interest and experience in other languages & frameworks would be beneficial
- Any experience of remote pairing & collaboration also beneficial
- Any experience with Vend, Cobot and Nexudus is nice to have
