Financial Accountant - Project Design Implementation
Amoria Bond is currently looking for an experienced Financial Accountant for an 8 month contract in Ramsgate for a global client. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on behalf of a multinational business. The successful Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports, supporting the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting. You will also support potential projects, planning & reporting and will be focusing on improving forecast, contract review of projects, and supporting growth opportunities in new regions.
Successful Financial Accountants will have be responsible for:
*Lead & Participate in entity monthly financial close (UK, Spain, Belgium) using Oracle Core & Projects
*Prepartion of journal entries required to close
*Prepares complex financial analyses and reports for department management.
*Prepares analyses, reports, and special studies for management.
*Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
*Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
*Coaches less-experienced Financial Analysts.
*Global Oracle Project Support (Project Setup, Close)
*Oracle Projects accounting & analysis (Discoverer reporting, revenue recognition)
*Internal controls including balance sheet reconciliations
*Delegation of Authority compliance
Ideal Financial Accountants will hold CIMA, ICAEW or similar qualifications.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant who is able to communicate effectively with the business and the end-users and who has delivered on multiple projects in the past. You will ideally have very strong communication skills and will be able to hit the ground running immediately on this project.
