Description
Job Role:- Works with the Global Supply Network Design Lead to develop data requirements for the global mapping and loss analysis exercise.
- Determines the appropriate data elements needed and the sources of data in each region by working with the Region Supply network design teams.
- Identifies internal and external data sources of supply chain related data, including shipment history, transportation costs, inventory, and cross-border trade data such as taxes, duties and tariffs.
Understands the content of internal data sources and systems related to supply chain. Knows the correct data elements to retrieve for the purpose of current state mapping. - Works with each region network design team to obtain the required data within the specified project timeline.
- Applies data extraction and manipulates date to provide the necessary data for the analysis.
- Applies knowledge of data and business to provide appropriate data quality checks and to perform necessary data cleansing.
- Develops interfaces, templates, and macros to simplify data collection and formatting/analysis.
- Obtains and formats data needed for the analysis.
- Supports the Global Network Design lead in the upload of data to the SC Guru tool.
- Develops capabilities such as visualization of analytical results, including sophisticated graphing, animation.
- Supports the development of content/charts for the loss analysis exercise for each region/category.

- Technical Mastery - Proven technical mastery of Excel, Access, Visual Basic and a strong passion for technology

- Communication - Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders in a clearly understandable way.
- Problem solving - The successful candidate should be an excellent problem solver based on a strong technical mastery foundation
- Bachelor's degree required, in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
- Understanding of International IT standards/processes and data structures - including but not limited to SAP, application security, data security, Business Data extraction and manipulation tools such as, Business Objects, power-pivot.
- Data warehousing environments
- Fluent in English
- 1 to 3 years of Business Experience in IT. Exposure to Supply Chain is required.
- Demonstrated examples in experience of applying data extraction and manipulation techniques.
- Demonstrated use of appropriate data manipulation tools.
- Demonstrated examples of problem solving skills.
