Description
A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Procurement Consultant to work on various projects within the EU. The procurement consultant/Contract Manager will be required to help deliver procurement services.This is a 5 month freelance contract to start 23rd May 2016 until approx. 22nd September 2016 with the possibility of further extensions. This will be based on an 8 hr day, 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Drive EU-tender process and procurement for the complex CAPEX contracts within SCADA, Network & Telecom systems
- Handle internal and external stakeholder management
- Lead contract negotiation with bidders
- Proven record CAPEX contracts
- Experience in public procurement and EU tender law
- Knowledge of supply or construction contracts, preferably FIDIC and EPC projects
- Experience of collaborating efficiently with many stakeholders from other in-house functions
- Fluent in English, oral and written
