For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking suitable candidate in a mixed role asInfrastructure Delivery Manager - Windows, UNIX, Database (3761)
In this role you will be part of a team of Project and Delivery Managers that are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure services across the global bank.
Your qualifications:
- 5+ years combined IT Infrastructure service or delivery experience in a financial institution or comparably large organization
- Experience in IT Infrastructure Technology across multiple platforms; Windows, UNIX, Database, Storage, Web Services and networks
- Demonstrated knowledge of Risk Management
- Extensive experience with working in a global organization involving cross functional project team and client base
- Proficiency in Microsoft toolset including Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong verbal / written communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability in providing end-to-end service delivery
- Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with various service providers
- Ability to translate business and organizational contexts to infrastructure requirements
- Negotiate and facilitate conflict resolution with supplier teams
- Innovative and open to try different ideas where it could be beneficial to the environment, clients, and the service deliverables
- Outstanding documentation, organization, and problem solving skills
- Fluent English language skills
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver medium/high complexity infrastructure services from initiation to checkout and delivery. Platform includes Linux, Windows, Database, Web Services, Storage, and Virtual Machines
- Confirm scope, define implementation approach, track milestones, and manage delivery risks & issues
- Engage respective teams as required; System Integration, Operations, IT Risk, Networks, Engineering, Product Management, Provisioning, and Access Management
- Manage multiple simultaneous global initiatives. Provide day to day support of delivery services to meet service level agreements
- Produce delivery plans, minutes, status reports, KPIs, and risk logs
- Communicate with stakeholders and clients at different levels of the organization on status and risks
*Ensure timely delivery of IT solutions aligned to the client's requirements while supporting the strategic objectives of the organization - Maintain quality of service by supporting and adhering to organizational standard operating procedures
