Global Renewable Energy Company is looking for a WTG Foundations Installation Manager to work on their offshore wind farm project.Our client is looking for the WTG Foundations Installation Manager to be able to start this 12 month freelance role ASAP. The WTG Foundations Installation Manager will report to the Foundations Transport & Installation (T & I) Package Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all offshore activities related to the safe and efficient installation of the foundations.
The Manager will manage the day to day installation activities, supervising a number of Client Representatives on board the installation vessels, as well as having responsibility for ensuring that all lifting, installation and vessel activities have been planned and are executed thoroughly and safely.
The WTG Foundations Installation Manager will have a close working relationship with the clients Principal Contractor team to ensure that the works are being undertaken in line with the CDM and all other relevant applicable regulations, with a key focus on ensuring HSE practices, quality of workmanship are in accordance with the clients project requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Engineering background
- Significant offshore experience, preferably in the planning and executing of WTG scour protection and foundation installation activities
- Offshore and onshore heavy lifting experience or significant understanding of principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of current UK health, safety and environmental legislation including LOLER and PUWER
- Experience and familiarity with Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
- Must be an excellent communicator and have excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Formal lifting qualifications
- ISOH qualified
- Multilingual
- UKOG (including fitness test) or RUK Medical or equivalent
- BOSIET or GWO Sea Survival
- Working at Height
- Offshore Transfer
- HUET (preferable)
