This role is an outstanding opportunity for a high calibre, commercially minded accountant to provide first class financial decision support. The candidate will be highly numerate, display strong analytical and presentational skills and be able to communicate confidently to senior management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Drive analysis and insight into understanding product and segment performance. Key focus on Mobile. Proactive identification of improvements that the business can implement and presentation of findings back to key personnel in the business to drive management focus and actions.Drive analysis and insight into Commercial and A&R efficiency, ensuring that we secure the best returns possible. This includes supporting the weekly trading process.Responsible for communication of results and trends to the business on a monthly/ad hoc basis, clearly explaining to non-finance community drivers of results and variances to forecasts/targets.Manage the quarterly forecasting and annual planning cycle of Mobile A&R, Ongoing commission, customer numbers and ensuring forecasts are commercially sound, aligned to strategic priorities, and fully owned by the business.Work with Business Intelligence and local MI teams to continue to deliver enhanced reporting capability and enhance the understanding of the performance of the Enterprise Business Unit. Exploit EDW to provide value add, insightful analysis for the marketing and product teams.Work with Finops (UK finance central team) to understand and validate month end results, working with them to effect to change to processes where required Responsible for insight and analytics on Key mobile KPI's, using IBRO and Channel Profitability to drive commercial performanceFully integrated and aligned with senior business customer teams advise on a wide range of finance matters. Active involvement in EBU Finance and UK Finance teams.The Ideal this role will be a strong communicator with a strong commercial awareness and have had exposure to a large corporate company and its functionalities.
