UAD/EUD Engineer
Our client, a leading IT services provider is looking for an UAD/EUD Engineer, for a 6 month contract in Erskine.
Apply depth and breadth of technical knowledge and be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise.
Ability to understand and relate to new products, technologies and strategies.
Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, and ensure learnings are shared for reuse.
Work effectively with other team members to achieve specific team goals.
Support internal and external customer meetings relevant to the role or as directed by management
Provide progress reports, reviews and plans.
Conduct unit testing and verify that defects have been fixed and completed.
Core Skills and Experience
Demonstrates a good technical background in Wintel including TCP/IP, SNMP, SSL, GPOs, MS XP,W7, W10, 2003, 2008, bit and 64 bit platforms.
Experience of working with VMWare and knowledge of automated device builds (eg Radia, SCCM, SMS, Altiris etc)
Plan, Design & Implement Automated Desktop Operating Systems.
Microsoft MCSA or similar applicable certification
Excellent written and oral communication and technical documentation skills
Self-motivated and strong organisational skills
Self-motivated, able to work without close supervision.
Ability to follow documentation to the letter
Experience working in a customer driven environment
Desirable Skills and Experience
System architecture of large scale deployments
Technical knowledge of HP hardware
Automation skills using Windows PowerShell/PowerCLI/Scripting
Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT)
Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK)
Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit
Microsoft SCCM (advantageous)
Due to the nature of the role and the time scale issued by our Client, candidates must either hold SC clearance or be eligible for SC clearance.
