Description

1.SCOPE OF WORK
-Executing Configuration Management tasks supporting all life cycle phases
-Monitoring configuration management activities of contractors
-Performing configuration management activities for in-house development/maintenance
-Ensuring that relevant NATO and international configuration management standards are appropriately implemented and that best practices are considered
-Conducting Physical and Functional Configuration Audits
-Performing other duties as may be required.

2.QUALIFICATIONS
-Education:
*A Master of Science (MSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content and 5 years post-related experience in life cycle CM (Hardware and Software) and life cycle product data management preferably of Command and Control systems or other similar software intensive programme;
*Or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content and 7 years post related experience in life cycle CM (Hardware and Software) and life cycle product data management preferably of Command and Control systems or other similar software intensive programme;
*Exceptionally, the lack of a university/college degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency;
-Good knowledge in the establishment and use of Product Life cycle Management, Product Data Management or CM tools and other office computer-based applications (eg. MS Office);
-Five (5) years of practical working experience in the field of life cycle CM (Hardware and Software) and life cycle product data management preferably of Command and Control systems or other similar software intensive programme; or in an experience in another closely related area; with extensive and progressive managerial experience in fields directly related to the function of the post;
