Description
Im looking for someone whom will have both knowledge and significant experience supporting the various components of an enterprise Oracle EBS(R12.2) environment.
Components to include the Oracle EBS Application suite, SOA and OBIEE. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to support application development and testing, patching of 12.2 using ADOP and to assist with ongoing daily support tasks.
Competency Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 5+ years of Oracle E-business Suite DBA experience. (Ideally 5-10 years)
- Strong experience of Oracle E-business suite R12 database administration activities such as patching, cloning, troubleshooting interfaces etc.
- In depth knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL tuning and performance management and monitoring.
- Knowledge of core database system objects and applications R12 foundational core objects.
- Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, and data through the various stages of the development life cycle.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments in a fast paced dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL and ability to ensure SLAs are consistently met
- Oracle certification is a plus
Technical/Professional Expertise and Qualifications Required:
- Experience supporting Multinode Application Servers (EBS, SOA and OBIEE).
- Experience Cloning/Refreshing Environments.
- Provide level 2 and 3 DBA support for issues
- Ensure that issues are properly fixed, regressed and reviewed.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the database and data
- Management of back up and recovery and Disaster recovery solutions
- Undertake Installations, upgrades, migrations and patch management of Oracle E
- Business suite environments (database and Application Server).
- Undertake Architecture and Design work for various
- Administration of system management procedures and standards
- Develop a deep understanding of business applications, customers, and business processes within the areas they support.
