Senior/Lead Android Engineer - Daily Rate Contract - Dublin - Roles x2
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years working in Agile software development life cycle (develop, build and test)
- Strong experience in Java programming language (Object Oriented programming)
- Understanding of multithreaded software performance, including benchmarking and tuning
- Wifi knowledge (configuration and use)
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience with automated unit testing and continuous integration
- Knowledge of Linux environments
- Strong problem solving skills with a focus on speedy resolution and ability to identify common programming mistakes
- Experience with distributed systems
- Good communication skills in English and ability to clearly impart information and issue details at various technical levels
- Strong interpersonal skills and is able to undertake line management of teams

- Linux Kernel QOS/Firewall module knowledge
