For a project at our client site, an international Bank in Zurich, we are looking for a

German speaking Requirements Engineer / Solution Architect - Lifecycle & Enhancement (3501)

The successful candidate will support the business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the clients who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it. It is important that the candidate understands business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view.

Mandatory qualifications:
  • University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
  • Requirements engineering experiences on IT Side within financial institutions of > 6 years
  • Good understanding of financial instruments like Swaps, Forwards, Options, Warrants, Futures, Notes/Certificates, etc.
  • Solid theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modeling (UML) in IT projects
  • Well experienced in eliciting requirements from business subject matter experts and writing business rules and interface specifications for the developers
  • Good understanding of software development processes


Your tasks:
  • Elicit and elaborate requirements
  • Model and document requirements understandable for clients and subsequence roles within IT
  • Ensure that specification of the user's needs is accurate, complete and unambiguous
  • Maintain traceability between requirements and between requirements and requests
  • Identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
  • Provide inputs to a first test strategy for the application
  • Provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements
  • Supports testing phase by giving input, review test strategy and test cases
