We are looking for a merchandiser for an on-line store within the EMEA Merchandising team.The Merchandising Team are looking for a Site Merchandiser. E-commerce continues to be one of the fastest growing and exciting areas of technology and the consumer audience. As part of the direct-to-customer retail strategy,this company is now one of the largest sellers of Microsoft products worldwide.
PREFERRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE
Strong computer skills, including a knowledge of HTML, CSS and web content management systems.
Analytical or mathematical background.
Experience of working in a global E-commerce web environment or an operations/data centre.
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE
Self-starter and a proactive problem solver with a drive to achieve results.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Degree or equivalent experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Merchandiser will be principally responsible for helping to manage site updates on the UK on-line store. Updates include Promotional implementation, Homepage layout, category page updates and changes to cross-sell pages.
Specific responsibilities of the Merchandiser include;
Coordinating site updates with the On-line Sales Managers, Marketing PMs, the other Merchandiser for the UK Store as well Demand Generation and wider Microsoft groups that look after specific product lines.
Updating key banner placements on the site: from planning through execution and impact analysis.
Implementing and analysing the effect of different sales strategies for the UK and comparing with results from other regions.
Managing and prioritising multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
Supporting the overall site vision and ensuring a quality customer experience while focusing on project goals and delivery dates.
Providing clear communication to stakeholders.
