Cobol Designer (DB2)
One of my leading clients is looking for Cobol Designer (DB2) to join their team for a 12months + project. My client would like someone to start ASAP so apply now for a quick screening followed by an interview if successful.
The Cobol Designer (DB2) will be responsible for:
- Development of new functionality based on analysis provided by the functional designers.
- Maintenance of the existing code.
- Participation in the testing during projects and maintenance.
- Respect the budgets and timings of the different tasks at hand.
- Promote a positive work environment by communicating openly and pro-actively with the other members within the (project) team.
- To build a profound expertise within the background processes of the group-insurance application (Velo).
- Prepared to invest him/herself in a long-term mission.
The Cobol Designer (DB2) will ideally have experience in the following:
- Working in IT organisation
. DB2
. Advanced Cobol application development
. Technical analysis
. Structured programming
. Knowledge of Dutch or French
