Multi Skilled Operative - Site Engineer
Job Purpose
Site based role to ensure the successful completion of a variety of skilled activities on Community Energy Schemes in the South West. Assist the Site Manager to ensure that a variety of site based tasks are delivered in accordance with the specification whilst maintaining safety, health, environmental and technical quality standards. Ensure that the project achieves the required design, specifications and complies with regulatory and legislative requirements. And all works are checked in line with the CE quality plan as stipulated by Senior PDM.
Key Skills
Essential
An appropriate CSCS card.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to negotiate with others to ensure the most effective delivery of the programme.
Must be willing to travel if necessary to for fill labour requirements on the clients community Energy projects.
A proactive approach to problem solving.
A full driving licence.
Willing to complete company training to improve skill set.
Desirable
Appropriate training and experience in operating a 360 Excavator (below 10t).
Appropriate training and experience in operating a Dumper.
Knowledge or experience of district heating networks.
Good numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and information and then present it logically and clearly.
A first aid at work qualification.
