Description
A leading Financial Services Company based in Dublin City Centre are looking to hire a Senior Storage Engineer on a Contact basis. This person would be responsible for developing requirements and providing design, implementation and support for all the storage hardware and software platforms across EMEA.
Responsibilities:
Provisioning, performance testing and fault-diagnosis
Analytics for tuning, performance monitoring, capacity monitoring of critical systems and arrays
Designing, documenting, and improving existing environments
Automating, updating and improving process, procedures, and deployment templates
Assist with storage projects from planning to conclusion
Carry out on-going support and maintenance of the storage system
Plan and implement service changes without unexpected service impacts
Developing Automation where possible
Document current systems or enhancements
Progressive improvement of technical services
Requirements:
SAN Storage Deployment, configuration and maintenance experience.
Working Knowledge of NetApp is essential.
Scripting Skills.
Good work ethic.
Proven experience in a similar role.
