Description

The successful candidate will report into the Regulatory Programme Manager supporting the banks various regulatory changes.

The role will work closely with the Legal and Risk functions in identifying, impact assessing and suggesting appropriate changes in readiness for regulatory deadlines. The role will provide Project Management support. Ensuring that projects deliver the relevant regulatory compliant changes on time and to agreed budgets.

You will be supporting the Senior managers across the various business units as appropriate within IT Development, IT Infrastructure and IT Business Application Support.

Key Requirements:

  • Collection of relevant information and documentation at the start of the project to support in understanding the as-is'environment and scope.
  • Create high quality project documentation such as in Project Briefs, Change Control Forms and Business Requirement Documents
  • Identify and validate the key business requirements
  • Work with business operations to define and document the target operating model and operational design. Review and feedback on IT Design documentation undertake requirements traceability.
  • Define and document UAT test cases and support the business during the UAT cycle
  • Perform investigational analysis and evaluation of regulations to determine requirements
  • Report all issues of regulatory concern to the CRO, Compliance and Legal Departments

Customer (internal & external)

  • Assist business users, project managers and IT leadership in optimising the scope, benefits and risks of proposed projects;help manage expectations of users and management bus
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops with Business Unit and Central functions. Document the functional and non-functional requirements in the agreed format to the required level of detail.
  • Assist is preparation of end user training material and guides.
  • Review and Quality Assure the key project deliverables and artifacts
  • Assist with stakeholder communications and engagement

Risk Management/Controls and Compliance

  • Collaborate with Test Lead/Test Manager and support resolution of defects during system integration testing. Actively participate in prioritization of defects and identification of change requests.
  • Supporting the project manager in documenting and managing project RAIDs.
  • Communicate and escalate potential issues/risks in a prompt and effective manner.

The successful candidate will need to be proactive and have the ability to provide consultation and direction on the best way to approach and deliver the varied mix of legal and regulatory changes. It is likely that there will be a number of projects across various divisions being delivered at any one time so it is critical that the candidate has strong stakeholder management, the ability to manage conflicting priorities and has clear and concise communication.

This role is responsible for providing the overall direction, coordination, execution and implementation of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, procedures and governance.

As well as driving successful project delivery this role will also help with the ongoing continuous improvement of the Change Team and ensure good project disciplines are Embedded across the business.
