Currently looking for a contract Embedded Software Engineer who has experience in the Automotive sector for an exciting vacancy in Sweden? I have fantastic contract role for someone who specialises in the automotive industry to be based in Sweden! No challenge is too difficult for our client. They are one of the leading international technology companies in engineering services.
The client has around 40 sites worldwide and with more than 3,000 dedicated and skilled staff, they aim to develop the future with their customers and aim to consistently be at the forefront of that development. They have more than 30 years experience and knowledge within their chosen industries including life science, telecommunications, energy and most importantly for this role, automotive.
You would be working with one of the leading Automotive brands at their HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. The site has fantastic transport links and is based only around a 15 minute drive from the airport.
They are currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer on a contract basis in Sweden working with one of the leading Automotive brands in the world. The candidate must have a BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar or have an extensive working history in a similar role within Automotive sector.
The Responsibilities of the role will include:
Work within the Software connectivity team
Responsible for the in-time delivery of the software in components including VGM, TCAM, TEM and VCM
Main point of contact to the supplier regardsing software issues
Responsible for the overall Software plan of the projects
System Engineering with Connectivity and Telematics team
They are ideally looking for a candidate who also has the following:
BSc Degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent working experience in a similar role and the same sector
At least 3 years' experience in the Automotive industry
Experience from software design and development within the automotive area
Experience in Systems Engineering within connectivity and Telematics
Excellent English - both verbal and written
