Looking for a DB2 specialist on Mainframe for a long term contract assignment based in Amsterdam.
As an experienced Midrange DB2 DBA you will be responsible to execute DB2 activities within a number of projects in a banking environment. You will responsible for Design, develop test, release/deploy and maintain database objects, database security, audit solutions and recovery solutions. This is a great opportunity where you will work in an international English speaking banking environment. The ideal candidate will have a good mix of technical skills and a strong customer focus. You will be able to successfully deliver to tight timeframes and clearly communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- DB2 version 10 certified professional
- Mainframe experience
- Experience working in large complex organization
- UNIX and Linux System knowledge. (Using the Command Line)
- ksh/bash Scripting
- Strong DB2 System performance and recovery experience
- Strong DB2 diagnostics and debugging skills
