MS Azure Release Engineer
For one of our global leading tech clients we urgently require a MS Azure Release Engineer who's experienced in environment setup and product deployments in MS Azure working in an amazing location in the Czech Republic. In addition you will get great exposure to support engagement which will help you upgrade your skills and work with the latest technology currently on the market.
The successful MS Azure Release Engineer must have at least 4 years skills & experience with the following:
Proven history with Infrastructure as a Service such as on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services(AWS), Microsoft Azure, or OpenStackDemonstrated experience & expertise on Microsoft Azure administration & PowershellDemonstrated experience engineering and supporting cloud scale IaaS and PaaS environmentsApplication virtualization for AzureDeployment and administration of Azure environment.Azure infrastructure management (VNet, Load balancers, instance management, instance size configuration, traffic management, HADR, RTO/RPO, SLAs, etc.).Securing application and Azure resources on Azure environment.Automation of Azure environment creation using Powershell or any Dev/Ops tool(s)Automating the monitoring and maintenance activitiesAutomation of application deployment and CI to Azure environmentsNice to have experience:
Tool(VSS, SVN) for Version maintenanceKnowledge of Dev/Ops model and tools would be a huge +pointKnowledge of ITIL processKnowledge of Support ModelHands on experience designing and implementing solutions leveraging multiple services within public cloud providers via provider and/or cross platform APIs.Knowledge of Developing Solutions with Cloud Orchestration Tools (Chef, Puppet, etc.)Demonstrated experience and expertise developing software, scripts, and or services for the cloudStrong Knowledge of IP Networking including VPC's, VPN's, VRF, DNS, Load-balancing, and Firewalls.Demonstrated Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle and Associated ToolsDemonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiativesStrong analytical and strong problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plansChange oriented - actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competingAs a MS Azure Release Engineer your daily activities whist not limited to will include:
- Automate deployment scripts
- Perform Cloud environment builds
- Perform code deployments
- Perform smoke testing.
- Deploy device firmware, provide reports requested by device Engineering
- Automate smoke testing & validation
- Participate in DR exercises as requested.
Contract: 6 to 12 months
