Roles and Responsibilities- Seeking a System integration lead/Lead integration specialist to upgrade the GIS system to GE Smallworld V. 4.3
- Position will be responsible for leading the change to replace Tibco Middleware with Oracle Fusion
- Position will be responsible for the design, documentation, development, testing and defect management
- May lead a small team of 2-3 developers
- Methodology is currently waterfall but later down the project, methodology will change to agile.
- Standardization of the Smallworld data model and conversion of the customized data model to the standard GE Smallworld data model
- New architecture utilizing modernized hardware will be implemented for the installation of the GE Smallworld version 4.3
- Integration design and development leveraging Oracle Fusion Middleware where possible. Existing Integrations include:
o Oracle CC&B
o ABB Asset Suite 8
o CYME
o Peak Rewards (Demand Response)
o Mobile Maps
o Geo-Data Visualization (ESRI)
o Pole Foreman
o Pole Activity Report (PAR)
o Advantica/Stoner
o Optimain
Data Conversion of Expert Designer designs
- Refine business processes for Design and Asset Management that incorporate current business requirements, take advantage of the Electric Office, Gas Distribution Office, and Design Manager out of the box functionality, and are aligned with Utilities best practices.
- Change Management effort to transition to the upgraded software
- Data Cleanup Effort to reduce the number of in-flight designs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- 5+ years' experience with system integration projects
- MUST have oracle Fusion 11g or 12g experience
- Strong Interpersonal communication skills
- Utility Experience preferred
- TIBCO Experience helpful, not required. Focus is on Oracle Fusion experience
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Experience with GIS technology preferred
- Experience within the Electric and/or Gas Utility Industry strongly preferred
