Senior Commercial Finance Manager - Berkshire - 9 month contract plus renewals - £450-£500 a day
Role Purpose
To be an integral member of Consumer Finance and Consumer Channel Partners team, influencing their strategic direction and business plans. Analyses performance and holds the business to account to ensure commercial targets are met and business decisions are focused on maximising the creation of value.

*Mandates as per Group guidance
*4 direct reports
*Close relationships with the Head of Channel Partners, Senior Commercial Trading Manager and Senior Commercial Marketing Manager for Postpay Segment.
Essence of Role - Key Accountabilities
*Utilise in-depth knowledge of Indirect Partner agreements, in order to maximise the value delivered through our strategic partnerships, and ensure effective contractual management
*Co-ordinate with Finance Operations and Legal to ensure the effective implementation and operation of our Indirect Partner agreements.
*Lead Business Partner for the Indirect Channels. Perform detailed analysis on financial and commercial issues, report back on findings and make recommendations for corrective action.
*Ensure the timely delivery of insightful management information to the Indirect Channel and the client in order to support effective decision making, and to drive the delivery of initiatives.
*Use in depth knowledge of the industry to define and set budgets/forecasts and hold the Channel Partners team to account to deliver budgeted numbers - delivering high quality forecasts/budgets with a full understanding of the drivers, risks, issues and dependencies in order to deliver the numbers.
*Fulfil the role of lead point of contact for Consumer Indirect and the client results and forecast, to the Head of Commercial Finance and to the UK FP&A team.
*Drive a high performing team, ensuring the team have great relationships with their respective departments yet provide the appropriate challenge and constantly drive for improvements. Showing finance leadership by being an active member of the wider finance community.
