I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced European Events Congress Lead with one of the world's most innovative pharmaceutical companies.
Role
He/she will contribute throughout the Global Organisation for both internal and external newsletter creation and curation.
You will be part of the Business and Communications Team in the Medical Department reporting to the Information Centre (IKC) Manager working in a fun and friendly environment where the successful candidate will be joining a truly reputed company.
Primary Responsibilities
-Develop search criteria for internal and external newsletters working alongside IKC team and Medical colleagues
-Interact with a range of people in Europe where English may not be their first language
-Responsible to format and manage newsletters using specialist citation management software
-Collect, organize and manage content for new and existing newsletters
-Ensure consistency in the recording of statistics for global reporting
Skills/Requirements
-Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar industry
-Experience/knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry especially good working knowledge of biomedical databases
-Experience using citation management software
-Computer literacy; Outlook, Access and Excel
-Familiarity with citation formats and citation management system mainly EndNote
-Excellent communications skills both verbally and non-verbally
-Ability to work part of a virtual team and as an individual with minimal supervision
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a similar field or commercial diploma
- Good standard of basic education including GCSE English and Maths at C or higher
