For a short term engagement at our clients' site in Schaffhausen, we are looking for an experiencedGraphic Design Specialist - HTML / CSS (50 - 60%)(3789)
In this role you will report to the Senior Communications & Creative Specialist, the main focus of this position is to create print and online communication and marketing materials to support the Intellectual Property (IP) team's awareness and education efforts at the clients' company in the United States.
Your qualifications:
- Graduate degree/apprenticeship or other relevant higher education in Graphic Design
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a graphic designer
- In-depth experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and MS Office
- Proficiency with image editing in Adobe Photoshop; experience with Dreamweaver is a plus
- Solid experience with WebDesign programs such as HTML/CSS
- A design portfolio that highlights your creativity and ability to alter your style depending on the project, audience or scope
- Good working knowledge of English; although you will not be required to proof/edit supplied texts
- Creative, motivated and able to deliver to varying, sometimes overlapping, deadlines
- Flexible and able to fluidly move between projects when priorities shift
- Highly committed individual with a self-starter mindset
- Highly motivated and adaptable team player who feels comfortable in a fast-paced environment, who is open to new ideas and proactively takes on responsibility
Major responsibilities:
- Supporting the creation, design and distribution of all communication, marketing and educational material for the IP & Innovation team
- Using corporate identity and style to layout quarterly magazine, including photo editing, graphic creation, finalization, communication with the printer, translation to an interactive online version through Joomag, and then designing our HTML-based email blast
- Supporting the creation of educational videos or graphics, PowerPoint presentations, email blasts, and infographics for the team
- Updating the home page of client's intranet (SharePoint) site
