Role Description
Candidates must have strong demonstrable skills in SCALA programming language and be ready to quickly get to work within a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design, creation and improvement of new and existing products, platforms and transactions across government. Prior experience working on the customer's Multichannel Digital Tax Platform (MDTP) a distinct advantage.
Tasks Description
"Requirements gathering, user workshops
UI design
Software design, development. Automated unit testing.
Working with testers to specify test cases
Participating in technical governance sessions with stream technical leads (architects)
Key Skills required
Experience building Server Side/Front End web application development including a detailed knowledge of SCALA required (not just prior experience of other Java compatible languages). An ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Experience working on technical projects within a team. Knowledge of the use of version control systems such as git. Ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques.
