Description

Urgently required for a 6 month initial contract, a Software Project QA engineer.

Role:

Defining, communicating and managing the Software Project Quality Assurance activities through an approved and operating Plan for Quality.

Determine and manage a project Quality audit plan, in line with AS9101, to ensure that Projects are operating in compliance with Customer and applicable statutory and regulatory quality management system requirements.

Working with key suppliers to develop and maintain an approved supply chain with clearly defined quality conditions.

Working with the project team to achieve measurable improvement to project system operating processes.

Working with the production team to achieve measurable improvement of product yields.

Experience:

Proven working experience in software development and software quality assurance in the Aerospace/
Defence industry.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Experience with performance and/or security testing is desirable.

Experience with the requirements of Software Standards eg AS9115, AQAP2210, BS/ISO/IEC 25001etc.

AS 9100 Internal Auditor. (IRCA Approved preferred).

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering.

Chartered Quality Professional.
