I am looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with extensive experience as a Business Analyst Consultant within telecoms to work on a 3 month rolling contract. The Business Analyst will have a broad knowledge of telecom products. The business anlyst will analyse broadly defined project objectives in order to achieve a clearly defined project scope.
Responsibilities
- You document functional and non-functional business requirements and makes it clear with regard to new application functionality
- You apply process and data models in order to sharpen the business requirements and structure
- You act as SPOC from IT during the "feasibility phase" of the project and provides the necessary coordination with all relevant IT project stakeholders
- You support the business in the preparation of business cases
- You bring alternatives and scenarios map with accompanying advantages and disadvantages and the impact on the business case
- You advise business departments on the possibilities of IT to the business
- You support the business in the design of administrative procedures to embed the information into business
- You evaluate the benefits of completed projects on the basis of the defined business cases to measure the impact of optimizations and report
Profile
- You have 10 years experience in an IT environment which preferably several years in the Telecom sector
- You have experience as a (business) analyst within a complex "business application" landscape
- You have a broad knowledge of telecom products (Internet, telephony, mobile and iDTV) and/or
- a broad knowledge of telecom business processes (ordering, provisioning, billing, customer service)
- You can "out of the box" thinking and can also use relevant external experience within the Telenet business context
- You have strong communication skills and be able to also at the management level you propose to explain
- You are very strong in analysis and its documentation
- You are familiar with the drafting of a project budget
- You have basic project management skills
- You are result oriented
- You have affinity with processes and procedures
- You can work autonomously and are stress resistant
