WebSphere Application Server Specialist
Our client, a leading organisation within its field, is urgently seeking an experienced WebSphere Application Server Support specialist for a long term contract opportunity. They are looking for a WAS-specialist with a proven background of WebSphere Application Server support, maintenance and implementation coupled with Oracle and AIX skills. Our client seeks an individual who can install, support and maintain web applications on AIX and WebSphere Servers.
You need to have a good knowledge about programming because you will be working among programmers and you need to be able to rate the Scripting.
The WebSphere Application Server Support Specialist looks after all aspects concerning incidents & problem solving, and provides support for changes in the WebSphere environment. You will regularly be the specialist in a project team, on new installations, software refreshments, migrations and modifications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server version 8.5
- Knowledge of WebSphere MQ
- Experience with Oracle
- Familiar with LDAP
- Experience with z/OS
- Experience in load balancing
- Familiar with databases(DB2/Oracle)
- Knowledge of loadbalancing
