Software Tooling Factory Consultant
A Software Tooling Factory Consultant is urgently required for an ASAP start with a major client in Brussels, Belgium.
Our client is aiming to create and maintain a central Continuous Integration Platform and connect it with the automated deployment tools.
The Software Tooling Factory Consultant will have the following skills and experience -
- Strong experience in construction and maintenance of software development factories.
- Extensive experience in the administration, setup and maintenance of Jenkins as continuous build and integration platform (knowledge of Jenkins Enterprise is a plus)
- Source control systems: SVN and/or GIT
- Build automation: Maven
- Nexus
- Windows and Linux platforms
The Software Tooling Factory Consultant will ideally have experience in -
- Code scanning tools (Sonar/Fortify)
- Mobile development tools for Android and IOS platform
- Good understanding of Agile
The Software Tooling Factory Consultant will be responsible for -
- Installation of the new tools/plugins
- Customization and configuration of the existing tools/plugins
- Creation and update of standards and guidelines
- Creation and update of installation guides
- Change Management: coach the clients (developers, testers, etc) to adopt the new processes and functionalities
- Toolset: Workstation development tools, Continuous build and continuous integration tools, code scanning tools (quality/security), testing tools, Java, Android & IOS.
Contract: 6 - 12 months +
