Senior Product Manager, Mature Savings, Regulatory, Insurance, 6 months, Hove
I am looking to speak to an Experience Product/Project Manager with Insurance experience within Mature Savings and Funds to join a transformation project in Hove on an initial 6 month Project
Responsibilities: (Key parts to the job role)
- Ensure that where required, Product Lifecycle Management is followed for all new and existing products and product developments including the maintenance of a 'Centre of Knowledge' for all products.
- Manage products to ensure that customers are provided with clear disclosure information, before, during and after point of sale. Manage and drive through new products and changes to product pricing, structure and disclosure to ensure products remain competitive and appropriate to their target market, ensuring all distribution methods are catered for.
- Provide detailed product input when interfacing with internal business areas and external third parties when discussing and agreeing product plans and initiatives.
- Seek and use management information, including indicators of potential customer misunderstanding or product/process failures to ensure the design and operation of products, literature and sales processes are maintained appropriately.
- Contribute to the definition and maintenance of the overall customer end to end experience.
- Provide ongoing support to Marketing, Distribution, Operational and Change areas
Requirements; (what we are looking for)
- Mature Savings Products Knowledge - Comprehensive understanding of a ange of Mature Savings retail life and pension products including investment bonds, endowments, stakeholder pensions and self-invested personal pensions.
- Regulation - Comprehensive understanding of all internal/external regulations relating to Mature Savings products including latest guidance from the FCA on fair treatment of long-standing customers in the life assurance sector.
- Life & Pension Markets - Good understanding of the wider Life & Pension product markets.
- Approvals process/Advertising Standards - Good understanding of FCA rules and principles and internal policies.
- TCF - Full understanding of Legal & General's processes and procedure relating to TCF.
- Product Management or similar role in Financial Services experience desirable.
