Trainer Specification
Our client, is a large Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric property maintenance business in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to over 1,600 clients in 40,000 locations.
The company is undergoing significant change with the implementation of new CAFM, Finance, HR and Payroll systems. They are looking to recruit a team of temporary trainers on a 6 month contract basis with experience of preparing and delivering training.
The Role
The role will be regionally based and will require frequent travel to the various branches within the region to deliver training for both Maximo and Mobile Working courses. The role will also support the regions branches during Early Life Support (ELS) following project go-live.
This position requires knowledge of Maximo v7.5/v7.6 for Work Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Finance, Preventative Maintenance, Assets, Graphical Assignment and knowledge of delivering mobile working to a vast engineering workforce, preferably using Cognito Smart Worker.
Candidates will need to train the client's employees who are regionally based throughout the business using a blended learning approach, mixture of classroom and eLearning.
Key Responsibilities
*Delivering training courses in formal (eg a classroom), informal (eg floor-walking) or online (eg eLearning and webinar) settings
*Ensuring the learning environment and resources support learner needs
*Designing course materials and other training documentation
*Preparing the learning environment and resources, including setting up IT equipment
*Evaluating the effectiveness of training courses and learning outcomes ensuring learners fulfil the skills, knowledge and competence required to enable them to carry out their daily working roles
*Supporting and coaching learners through the learning journey during the projects transition phase through to post go-live
Your Profile
Essential skills & experience required
*Experience of delivering training deliverables to tight timescales
*Experience of working on medium to large projects implementing new IT systems and business change
*Extensive experience of providing training to a wide range of users/learners including engineers and technicians
*Experience of training in an IT/Business Change environment on a multi-site environment
*Experience of the production of training material such as manuals, handouts and exercises to a high quality
*Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
