Would you like to work in Valencia, Spain, especially with the summer just around the corner...?
1 x Sharepoint Support Administrator is needed to join an international IT organisation providing remote IT and Sharepoint-related support from their location in Spain. This is an English speaking role and requires someone with at least three years of experience in Sharepoint and someone that can be based in Valencia for a potentially long term contract begining July 2016.

Your experience should include:
  • Minimum 3 years supporting SharePoint .
  • Experience working in and supporting SQL , along with SQL Reporting Services and IIS.
  • Microsoft windows familiarity.
  • Skills in general infrastructure including system configurations, clustering, performance, and the use of security certificates.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks around changing priorities.
  • Excellent English communication.
  • Excellent technical documentation and organisation skills.
  • ITIL knowledge (certification is beneficial).
  • Professional attitude.
As a SharePoint Administrator you will join an existing team of other Administrators and Technical Support specialists from two European locations and your day to day duties will include:
  • Manage standard admin activities - create site collections/databases; security etc.
  • Deployment of solutions in the pre-production and production environments.
  • Monthly Windows patching, as required.
  • Deployment of SharePoint Cumulative Updates and Services Packs.
  • Monitoring - configuration; follow-up on alerts.
  • Performance tuning and optimisation.
  • Manage integration with other systems and third-party tools.
  • Backup - configuration; monitoring; new requests; restore.
  • Incident analysis and troubleshooting including troubleshooting with vendors.
  • Decommissioning of environments.
  • Document monitoring and maintenance procedures.
  • This role is 5 days per week plus occasional on-call support.
