Position: Cryptocurrency Project Manager
Duration: Contract (6months+)

Job Purpose Statement:
An Innovation Cryptocurrency Project Manager must be highly motivated, have a proven ability and experienced working with senior client stakeholders and enterprise applications within the financial services industry.
The successful candidate is expected to provide SME knowledge in the field of cryptocurrencies and their underlying technologies.
The appropriate candidate will be actively encouraged to seek innovative ideas and fresh thinking for strategic technical solutions and enhancements to business needs.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and resourceful team player who can comfortably lead a large team of highly motivated individuals within 's globally innovation lab network.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be handling the following (but not limited to) responsibilities:
- Support R&D experiments internally through collaboration in key lab initiatives.
- Provide SME (Subject Matter Expert) supporton digital money and related projects.
- Design/Create mock-ups and prototypes within, but not limited to the digital money space.
- Measuring Innovation Activities through the use of OKR's/Performance Scorecards/Targets and Milestones.
- Create/Contribute to new the creation of new innovation project proposals including the pre socialisation with stakeholders, the creation of business cases, cost and revenue projections.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and projects of varying sizes & complexity
- Create new & maintain existing partner and vendor relationships.
- Effective upward and downward communication on all notable progress to all key stakeholders,
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge/Experience
- Extensive experience in the financial industry with a specialist in the payments/receivables.
- Exposure to the digital money space and understanding of its current/potential impact on the traditional payments space.
- Proficient in Lynix technology stack and extensive experience developing with C++.
- Experience of delivering complex programs involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations with a significant amount of uncertainty.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of early stage initiatives through to successful delivery
- Experience of applied research, experimental development and early design activities to validate/invalidate ideas.
Skills
- Aware of the implementation details of commonly used C++ features and features and how to use that knowledge to help implement efficient yet maintainable code.
- Creative problem solver comfortable with working in rapidly evolving landscape and projects loaded with uncertainty.
- Technologically strong and business savvy.
- Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development).
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups from senior stakeholders and clients to junior team members.
- A number of skills will be strengthened by this position including senior stakeholder management, project/program management, strategic thinking, tactical & operational solution provision, senior internal/external client interaction, risk management, and presentation & reporting skills.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- A bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualifications (Innovation/Banking field desirable)
- Experience working with innovative and emerging technology.
