For a 6 months project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior Developer - C#/.NET & JIRA (3818)
In this role you'll be working as a .Net developer on a Securities Lending/Repo trading application.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years .Net C# experience
- Previous experience of developing IT projects within a banking firm
- Experience of using of dependency injection, and Inversion of Control containers
- Knowledge of Securities Lending, Repo and Collateral trading would be an asset
- Prior experience of JIRA
- Agile project delivery
- Experience of F#
- Fluent written and spoken English
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide strong C# .Net development skills to the team
- Design and development and maintenance of WinForms based GUIs, WPF GUIs, C# Middle-tier services and integration components of the Securities Lending and Repo trading platform
- Be comfortable in understanding and writing LINQ queries
- Be able to use ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or nHibernate
- Work closely with development team locally and in Poland to create an effective team culture with strong delivery ethic
- Help develop specifications with the business analysts on a wide range of projects and initiatives
- Design, document, implement, test, and release to the highest possible standard, with attention to detail
- Develop and maintain Sybase and SQL Server database queries and stored procedures
- Provide 3rd level support to end users and 1st/2nd level support team
- Help capture business requirements in the form of User Stories
- Support the test team in testing activities
- Work directly with Business users at all levels on smaller projects such as scr development and enhancements
