ICT Service Market Insight Manager

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in China.

Position Title: ICT Service Market Insight Manager
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: July 2016
Duration: 12 months initial
Location: Shenzhen

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for market & industry analysis, including market segmentation, market sizing, and market trends on macro environment, commercial, technology, and value chain shifts.
- Paint a clear picture on addressable markets and future development trends.
- Manage and maintain partners (consulting firms, analysts) and get regular updates on market dynamics and insights.
- Working with key regional MI teams, make customer analysis, including customer segmentation analysis, customer value analysis, CSPA analysis, and customer satisfaction analysis.
- Analyze and present a clear picture on customers' future investments,on customer pain-points, transaction behaviors, and business models.
- Responsible for competitive analysis, including competitive landscape analysis, deep-dive analysis on a given subject, and regular analysis of competitors' financial statements/reports, breaking news; make ad-hoc alerts as needed.
- Analyze end users of communication service providers (CSPs), including personal users, family users, and enterprise users, to understand their behavioral changes, needs and wants shifts, and related implications to CSPs.
- Participate strategy planning, business planning, marketing planning and product management.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree or above, major in communications, computer or related, more than 10 years experience of ICT industry.
- Technology background with MBA degree preferred; consulting or market research company experience preferred.
- Have a certain understanding of ICT's technology and business trend, familiar with one or more of technology and solution of carrier network, data center, Cloud Computing, IT software application, storage, server, IP Networks, etc.
- Good knowledge of technology and solution in one or more of following areas, eg network integration, managed services, network planning and optimization, customer experience management, OSS/BSS, Data Center, Cloud Computing, Openstack & Openflow, SDN/NFV etc.
- Deep understanding and awareness of ICT professional services, with experiences in customer service delivery and support preferred.
- Strong strategic and logical thinking, good communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English, C level interfacing, good presentation skills.
