For our client in the telco industry we are looking for an Operation Support Engineer for an IoT network

Start: ASAP

Duration: 1 year (likely extension)

Location: Leuven/Brussels

Language: Trilingual (Dutch, French & English)

Our client is currently building an Internet of Things network. They are looking for an ambitious starter who can support the operations department. This network provides an ideal connectivity for wide use of connected objects (IoT) by enterprises looking for greater operational efficiency in Belgium and Europe. Indeed, the transmission of a regular flow of information by the network will, at an attractive cost, allow more precise management of the objects and a stronger interaction with customers.

Tasks:

Technical Helpdesk Operations (Service Assurance)

Radio Network Planning & Simulation (Service Design/Network Build)

Network Capacity Planning (Continuous Improvement)

Subcontractor Management for Installations and Interventions

Network Commissioning

Equipment Logistics Management

Technical Vendor Management (Sigfox)

Site Owner Management

Invoice Follow-Up

Operational Process Management

Follow-Up Technology Evolution

Acceptance Testing New Technology

Technical Customer Management

Customer Operations Support for Technical Matters

Your profile:

Master of Industrial Engineering specialized in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

2-5 years' experience in mobile communications and helpdesk operations

25-35 years old

Technical/Business Skills :

Strong technical background/interest in radio, hardware & applications

You have a strong affinity with wireless technologies and know what IoT is

You are passionate about new and innovative technologies

You are familiar with ITILv3 and ETOM

You have good MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Behavioural Skills :

You are a self-motivated professional with a creative problem solving mindset and hands-on ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently within a focused team and rapidly changing work environment

You feel comfortable to work in start-up and pioneer modus

You have a strong sense of responsibility and maturity

You have strong interpersonal skills (communication, negotiation, assertiveness, convincing)

You have excellent organizational and planning skills

You remain efficient in stressful circumstances and you are able to deliver under strict time constraints

You are result and high-quality driven

You are pragmatic and hands-on, you make things happen
