Job Description

Set up a configuration baseline of documents in correspondence to the deployed versions of the applications

Define software/application configuration management principles, policies, procedures and tools to version and store configuration items; work out version baselining per release

Responsible for the translation of business requirements into functional requirements for projects in a web environment context

Analyse the business requirements and organize them into the bigger picture of the asset and its neighbouring assets. Obtain requirement descriptions on time from the business and challenge them to ensure that the quality of the business requirements is to high standard

Translate the business requirements and formalize them into understandable functional specifications capable of being utilized for technical design by the development team and for test script preparation by the functional test team

Interface with the functional test team. Make sure that test specification is in line with functional design

Key participant in change and defect management processes
Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyse and challenge the solutions proposed by the developers
Write up the analyses in correct, clear, technical-professional English
Help the project owners to implement their requirements on-time by working on the functional specification, and by getting a commitment on the content by the development team
Support during acceptance testing
System integration testing (SIT)
Requirements:
-
Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in an ICT or technical or scientific program

Minimum of 8 years' experience in functional or technical web application design.
Must haves:

Some years' experience in functional design

Some years' experience in technical design
-
Good knowledge of Photoshop and PSD
-
Sound knowledge of development methods, standards, good practices and tools
-
Experience in business analysis and functional design in a web environment context.

Being able to work under pressure during critical periods in the project
