The Role:
I am currently recruiting the services of an experienced Solution Designer with a strong Consultancy background to play a key role in a range of high profile projects within our blue chip client base. You will ideally have a broad technical background & previous experience in lead roles on major application development & systems integration projects. You will also have a proven track record in designing and delivering scalable, robust &secure enterprise solutions. With first class customer facing skills & a genuine passion for quality/professional delivery, you will be looking for a new challenge with a company that genuinely recognises & rewards its star performers.
The role will involve designing solutions to meet functional and non functional requirements, definition of specifications & hands on development. Working closely with the customer to identify key drivers &communicate the rationale and benefits will require excellent interpersonal skills at all levels within an organisation.
Essential Skills:
- End to End project experience with strong consulting, influencing & presentation skills.
- A broad technical background with depth in at least on architecture discipline.
- Proven ability to deliver flexible, bespoke IT solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at senior levels.
- A good knowledge of Integration technologies.
- A working knowledge of technical architecture disciplines (Ideally application).
- A working knowledge of development processes (eg RAD, Agile, RUP).
- Previous experience in lead roles on major application development processes.
- Practical experience of software development.
- Experience of leading a technical team.
- Strong written and interpersonal skills are key.
