Windows Server Administrator
The position is responsible for supporting and improving CCI's Windows Server security configurations in support of the company PCI initiatives. Responsibilities include managing consistency across our production and test environments, managing cluster configurations, production support and remediation activities. Moderate understanding of database (SQL), web (IIS), storage, VMWare, and network technologies.
Requirements:
- 7+ years supporting large IT environment of distributed computing platforms; including root cause analysis to resolve complex system problems
- Supporting and managing Windows solutions and configurations including strong knowledge of Windows Clustering
- 5+ years working in a VMWare hosted environment
- 5+ years in supporting Dell Servers, or similar hardware platforms
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and connectivity as it relates to server based connectivity
- 5+ years' experience with ITIL
- Skilled in working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Proven analytical and strong problem solving abilities
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to multitask and do in-depth server troubleshooting
- 4+ years experience in infrastructure support and/or infrastructure planning
- Strong Scripting skills using PowerShell, VBScript, or other Scripting languages
- Strong knowledge of SCCM 2012 including creation of Software Update Groups, Collections, Deployment packages, and OS Deployment process
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory OU structures and GPOs
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong client service focus
- Working knowledge of File Integrity Management (FIM)
