We're on the hunt for our next Front-End Developer, but not just anyone will do.We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about building scalable, modular and responsive websites -- whether that's using HTML, CSS or JavaScript. We want someone who understands the latest in front-end technology, with a good eye for design. We're searching for a bright, energetic person who can work closely with our creative and development teams to bring complex sites to life. This means we want someone with experience that can make our clients win in their competitive fields.
As a Front-End Developer, you'll work closely with our team to bring interactive concepts to life - meaning you need to be fast at understanding the complex needs of enterprise organizations, but savvy enough to pick the correct path for success.
HERE'S A SNAPSHOT (BUT NOT ALL) OF YOUR TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Is highly proficient in HTML and CSS
- Is highly proficient in building responsive, mobile-first websites
- Is proficient in JavaScript and jQuery
- Knows how to scale HTML, CSS and JavaScript as sites grow exponentially
- Is familiar with front-end patterns like BEM and object-oriented CSS
- Is familiar with object-oriented JavaScript and can utilize tools like Browserify, Webpack or RequireJS to manage dependencies.
- Is familiar with task runners like Gulp and Grunt.
- Is proficient with Git and using GitHub.
- Is conscious of site performance -- during the initial request and on-page -- and wants to reduce HTTP requests, browser repaints, and deliver lightning fast sites to any and all browsers
- Understands the importance of progressive enhancement and graceful degradation
- Is vigilant about web standards, accessibility and usability.
- Is capable of collaborating with designers to build interactive prototypes.
- Has intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Can provide technical insight to designers.
- Has experience with Craft, ExpressionEngine, Wordpress and/or other CMS platforms.
- Has a basic knowledge of PHP.

- Be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Provide reliable estimates for development deliverables.
- Communicate well both internally with other team members and externally with clients.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- At least three years of professional, post-collegiate experience
- A BS, BFA or equivalent work experience.
