For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Oracle DBA/Technical specialist.
A highly motivated IT Engineer able to support and optimize a Commercial-of-the-Shelf solution, based on Oracle database and Linux/Windows platforms.
Description:
A new COTS application from Moody's Analytics is being implemented.
For this application deployment process, Oracle database tuning and security setup needs to be embedded in DevOps team.
Other information: 'Startup, in April Dev environment of Moody's has been installed.
General knowledge:
- Solid experience with Oracle databases as (application) dba for performance tuning, security
setup, organizing data and maintenance of PL/SQL procedures;
- Experience with COTS ERP system based on Oracle database, understanding the software
stack components of the web application (Linux, Windows, middleware)
- Experience with Windows (Powershell) and Unix scripting (bash)
- At least bachelor grade

- pro-active mindset, drive for continuous process improvement and high quality standards
- teamplayer, but also sufficient experienced to take lead in areas mentioned
- excellent communication skills English and able to train team in new tooling & process
