Oracle DBA
One of our leading clients is looking for an Oracle DBA for a lucrative, long-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for longevity as a contractor/freelancer. The project duration is running for 12-18 months with a quick start.
The Oracle DBA will be responsible for and also experienced in the following:
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle database and related products.
- Backup and recovery policy planning and implementation.
- Database design and implementation.
- Implement and maintain database security.
- Database performance analysis and tuning.
- Create and maintain database documentation and standards.
- Capacity planning for the databases.
- Coordination with development team on general guidelines and troubleshooting.
- Patch management and technical support.
- Implementation of high availability solution for the databases.
- Assistance in building up interfaces relating to databases.
- Ensure database availability via monitoring and other tools.
- Knowledge of other RDMS software is an added advantage.
