Description
Growing software company that is a subsidiary of a behemoth with super cool technology is seeking a .net Developer that has strong experience, knowledge and aptitude in software development to work on critical strategic projects. You are needed to participate on a team to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of services, data structures, processes, web sites and applications that will support critical customer facing applications.
Ideally you will have a strong background in C# and database development. The work will range from API development and integration, batch and stream processing apps, desktop and web. They are looking at moving their solutions to the AWS cloud so cloud experience would be helpful; but not necessary and would be a great learning opportunity.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of applied C# .NET experience
- Minimum 3 years of RESTful Web API or WCF development and integration experience
- Expert level full-stack software development experience
- Experience with SQL Server writing SQL and DB objects in relational databases
- Experience with Windows service and desktop development
- Exposure to Automated testing, Unit, Integration
Preferred (if you don't have them you'll gain experience!):
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of infrastructure and software deployment
- Experience with large, complex relational databases and query optimization and tuning
- Experience in systems architecture and design
- Cloud computing Azure/AWS
- PostgreSQL and Amazon RDS
- Source Code Repositories: TFS, SVN
- Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies
