The Senior Quality Assurance will report to Platform Development Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Software Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Operations, Engineering and Middle Management in producing high quality software.
- Develop test documentation and test cases based on formal requirements as well as informal communication with developers and product managers
- Develop, execute and maintain manual and automated test scripts
- Identify and report defects by applying structured test methodologies
- Provide accurate report to management about test status
Qualifications:
- Completed education in an IT profession or equivalent
- 5-8 years of experience in manual and automated software testing
- Good knowledge of testing methods and techniques (ISTQB certified tester or equivalent)
- Understands common pitfalls of test automation and knows how to address those
- Experience in programming (C#, Java or Script language)
- Good to have experience with Ramore and JIRA
- Customer/End-user focused, ability to act as an interface between an end-user and a technical oriented person
- Curious, passionate, analytical and abstract thinking and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
- High degree of autonomy and goal oriented working
- Willingness to work off-block time when needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
